All visitors who wish to enter the Republic of Korea must have a valid passport and visa. Visitors with roundtrip tickets from countries who have a special agreement with Korea may be exempt from the visa requirement, and can stay in Korea visa-free for up to 30 days, or 90 days, depending on the type of agreement between two countries.
** Please contact a Korean embassy or a consulate as early as possible to make your visa arrangements.**
We encourage you to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Visa page for the most current and updated information, including:
- Countries under visa exemption agreement
- Nationals of countries / regions allowed for visa-free entry (up to 30 days unless noticed otherwise) into Korea
If you need more information to find which visa suits you, please visit the Korea Visa Portal.
